To mark International Women's Day, 8 March, we went to the Congress of Deputies to hear our dear Nuria de Pablo who took part in the Round Table on Feminisms at the 5th International Conference on Feminist Literature: Feminisms and Care. Relational feminism. Eco-feminism. Palestinian women and colonialism. The dangers of non-inclusive and sexist communication.
Thanks to that invitation, we decided to move our Training Seed to the Congress of Deputies and listen to Nuria de Pablo, an expert in non-inclusive and sexist communication. Other essential women also spoke at the event:
Bahira Abdulatif, Iraqi intellectual, writer, poet, translator, interpreter and lecturer in translation, interpreting and literature at the Universities of Baghdad, Autónoma de Madrid and Complutense.
Rosa San Segundo Manuel, professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and former director of its Institute of Gender Studies (UC3M).
Elena de León, political scientist, teacher and writer. President of the Federation of Women's Associations of the Community of Madrid (FAMCM).
Several poems by contributors to the 14th International Poetry and Art Festival Grito de Mujer were also recited.
